Miss Josephine
Principal
Josephine was born into a showbiz family. Her mother was a singer & dance teacher, and her father was a musician who ran a popular dance band. Josephine began dancing as soon as she could walk and was a sunshine competition winner of under 5's in tap. She then went on to train at the famous Corona Stage School London and took part in many films, adverts, modelling jobs, pantomimes and professional shows. Josephine then got the passion to teach and pass on her training and experience to many young students. Josephine is very proud of all the students she has taught and their achievements in their chosen career paths. Whether it be dance or another chosen career, as she feels she trains pupils for for their future and teaches them important life skills for every job as well as sharing her passion for dance.

Josephine's biggest achievement with TSS was producing a show in Beijing, China which combined students from Thanet Stage School with students from Beijing. She has also put on shows in France, Germany, Russia and recently worked with Astor Big Band as well as professional London cabarets .

Josephine is always really excited to develop and get the best out of every student and for them to achieve their best potential in a caring and nuturing environment where each students' individual learning journey is encouraged with the guidance of Josephine and her amazing team of teachers working alongside her.
Miss Molly
Modern, Technical Jazz, Contemporary & Musical Theatre Teacher
Molly started training with Thanet Stage School (TSS) at the age of 2 years old in many various genres. While training with TSS she gained ballet and jazz scholarships with BBO dance and ballet scholarships with Cechetti as welll as being given the opportunity to perform in many shows and cabarets. At 16 years old she then continued her training and went to full time professional college at Masters Performing Arts and graduated in 2021 with a diploma in Musical Theatre.
Since graduating Molly has performed with The Vegas Showgirls and also choreographed and performed in various cabarets. Molly has been teaching at TSS since 2020 and loves sharing her passion for dance with all the students and seeing their improvement and individual journeys with ability and self confidence. She choreographs regularly for TSS as well as preparing students for accredited exams in Modern and Musical Theatre Dance. Molly is currently working at Disneyland Paris as a character and parade performer.
Miss Beth
Modern, Technical Jazz, Contemporary & Musical Theatre Teacher
Beth has been dancing since the age of 2, competing in England and completing exams in Ballet, Tap and Jazz. Beth went on to train at Bird college and studied dance education gaining a degree. Beth also studied contemporary at The Place in London. Beth has many years experience of teaching around Kent, in primary, secondary, dance and musical theatre schools. Beth has been covering classes at Thanet Stage School for nearly a year now.
Miss Sarah
Drama & Musical Theatre Teacher
Sarah studied performing arts and dance at Chichester University with a focus on devised theatre. Sarah has been lucky enough to perform in various productions across Kent and further afield, her favourites being Bugsy Malone, Godspell and Annie. Sarah is an accomplished singer and dancer who enjoys helping students explore performance as a way to develop into well rounded confident individuals for whatever career path they choose.
Miss Syroon
Singing & Musical Theatre Teacher
Syroon has been performing on stage since the age of 5, including competitive singing and successfully gaining various exams. Syroon went on to achieve a 2:1 Commercial Music Degree at Christchurch University. Whilst there Syroon developed not only in performance but in recording and songwriting with her album achieving a "first". For her final year dissertation Syroon wrote on signing techniques and how to teach them. Syroon has performed across the country and continues to perform today. She has been teaching at Thanet Stage School since 2011.
